Susie Ma, Founder & CEO of Tropic Skincare
Armed with a desire to use her young entrepreneurial and innovative mind to help out with household bills, Susie began making natural skincare products at home to sell at Greenwich Market. After taking an evening class while still at school, Susie continued to build Tropic Skincare when she progressed to studying at UCL, using her growing sales to fund her tuition.
Susie was selected from 73,000 contestants to appear on the 2011 series of BBC’s The Apprentice. At 21 years old, Susie was the youngest ever candidate on the show and became the only runner-up to receive funding from Lord Alan Sugar. Today, she continues to inspire over 10,000 devoted Tropic Ambassadors, who each have their own business selling Tropic products as part of the company’s social selling programme.
