Michael Wilkinson and Steve Holt set up i-education in 2007 having worked with further education centres in South Yorkshire. The team is now collaborating with organisations across a multitude of sectors to deliver learning opportunities at all levels online.

Business has doubled at i-education since winning the Education Entrepreneur of the Year Award last year.
Co-founders Michael Wilkinson and Steve Holt were rewarded at last year's DEAs for their innovative work, combining curriculum based learning with online games.
We caught up with Michael for a chat earlier this week and he told us, "Winning the award provided a real credibility hit for us, and it allowed people to see that what we do is exciting and different.
"It has been a real motivator for the staff as well, and has rewarded them for their hard work."
Over the last 12 months i-education has gone from strength to strength, consistently expanding into new areas with wide reaching educational tools.
Michael said that the business idea came to the pair whilst working at revision booster sessions.
Seeing how bored youngsters were with their work and how excited they were with gaming allowed Michael and Steve to create an exciting new concept: "We simply put the two ideas together to create, 'Edutainment'!"
"Our business has doubled in the last year," said Michael. "In five years time I think we will have diversified a great deal and would hope to be serving most of the schools in the country."
Both founders of i-education are very excited to enter this year's awards, and are keeping their fingers crossed for success once again.
